Puerto Vallarta in Soutdington

The food was pretty good, however not exactly worth the prices. I would not recommend getting the chocolate molten cake (see pictures), it was very dry and lumpy. Our server, Alissa, made the experience so much better and more rememberable. She expressed her sincere apologies about the kitchen being backed up and even put together a little birthday card for a member of my party. Keep up the great work!

As a Mexican, I can honestly say almost everything is authentic. They even make the rice just like my mom's.

Amazing food, its always delicious! We usually sit in the bar and our waiter is great!! Free chips and salsa when you sit down too! Drinks are a little pricey....my house margarita was $15.95!! But the fajitas are always good, the enchiladas are delicious and the burrito vallarta is huge and sooooo good! Also, make sure you get their rice and beans! This is a great chain restaurant and we come back all the time! (This location is better than the one on the berlin turnpike though)

Very good Mexican food. They gave us churros on the house and a note thanking for supporting them during a tough time. Very good!!

we saw the sign on 84 south and stopped here on our way south from Amherst to Jersey. amazing food (fast service, i was shocked), lovely decor, friendly staff. i'm so glad we got hungry when we did!

Great food and service, good for a date later in the evening or bring the family anytime. Extensive menu with well executed options from tacos and burritos to steak and seafood entrees.

Personally, I think this is the best one of the three. Friendly staff, great service, super clean.

Food was good and the service was great. My only gripe is the portion of food we got. I could spend less money and get larger portions at a comparable restaurant..

All the while I am standing there with a mask on. Mind you I am 6’3” so I am pretty hard to ignore. She looked at me but continued to seat the other two parties. Common sense, say I apologize were you here first, then take me to my table and then the other two parties who came in after. That needs to be addressed by management ASAP.

Nothing wrong with the food other than being very basic. My biggest complaint is that there are no prices on the drink menu and I was charged 30$ for a house margarita. Lmao. Like that cost more than my meal and I was caught off guard when receiving the bill.

My favorite Puerto Vallarta location for their food! For atmosphere, I recommend Orange or Newington.

The food was delicious I ordered cochinita pibil and it was amazing the flavor was the same as I was in mexico. My husband ordered mix fajitas and he loved it.Good services, clean place and taste food

I liked the food... I took a burrito which was not only filling but tasty. What else could one ask from their meal.

Came here for mothers day and it was divine. The server was a sweetheart and the atmosphere really felt appropriate. The drinks came out with a flourish and the food came out hot and delicious. Service, atmosphere and prices were fantastic. Will definitely be coming back here soon!

Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere felt as authentic as you can get in Connecticut. My meal was pretty good as well, but our waiter was having a bad day and didn't behave professionally. I would rather give it 2.5 stars but I'm sure the service is more acceptable in different circumstances.

Ordered takeout tonight, and when picking up my order it was realized that the order I called in was never given to the kitchen. No big deal. Staff was beyond apologetic, comped our appetizer, and had my order ready within 15 minutes. Our meals were phenomenal, and customer service on point!

I enjoy good Mexican food and this location is another good option in lieu of the Berlin Turnpike location. I like both locations. The food is just as good here and the staff is friendly as well.This restaurant is in a nice and safe area. I recommend getting the chips with the fresh guacamole made at your table side. For my meal, I usually get the combination platter and mix in two tacos and a burrito.

Fun place! Very popular. Wait staff was really helpful and friendly. Excellent guacamole made right at the table. The margaritas were great- they have a huge selection of recipes and styles.

Good Mexican food. Convenient location. Good handicapped parking and seating.

Went on Friday night right after work. There was no wait time we got seated immediately. The food didn't took long either. Love their shrimp but the chicken was ok. Their plates are huge, two people can definitely share a meal. For the desserts the flan was ok although I think they probably used too much of the cream cheese. Also, I didn't like that the fried ice cream was covered in corn flake cereal. Overall great place.

I placed an order online on 8/9 right after I confirmed with a clerk/employee over the phone a minute before about the ordering process. I was surprised when I got there to be told that their fax had not been working at all and my order was never placed....To add the icing on the cake, she tells me that the kitchen was now closed and they could not do my order...This was around 930pm. Normally I don't care much for these issues, but this place could have communicated better amd tell me over the phone when I called instead of making me go all the way there to tell me that.

This place is delicious! Since moving here from Southern California, this is by far the best Mexican food we have found! Great food, great service. Generous plates and dessert is excellent. Be sure to get the chili con queso.

I guess the management changed ...The waiter was rude ... and was trying to tell me that they charge for extra chips and salsa... was ignoring me when i said that he got the drink order wrong...Liked the restaurant before ... but will never come here again!!!

We’ve been here 6 times now and 4 of those times we’ve had such terrible service. The food was ok, but nothing to rave about. But because of the poor service, we won’t be back.

Very well organised and accessible restaurant. They serve big meals and for inexpensive prices. I liked the food a lot and the waiters were very attentive and informative. I recommend this place.
